Ozone in water becomes a powerful disinfectant. It is able to kill bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi more effectively and safer than traditional chemical methods. Ozone controls water pollution and is more effective than reverse osmosis or water filters. Commercial pure water systems are mostly run with ozone being implemented in the final stage of sanitisation. As a wash or spray, water treated with ozone can be used for drinking, sanitise surfaces and equipment used in food processing. Utensils and small equipment can be rinsed in ozone treated water to remove chemical and bacterial residue. The magic part is the by-product of ozone is oxygen, so that no residual chemicals remain.
